Oil light flickering
Mazda 6 2004 3.0 engine 90,000 miles.
I had this car from 37,000. Change the oil on a regular basis.
Had a oil light flickering. First drained oil changed it and put in a new oil pressure sensor.
Drove all day stop and go and at the end of the day driving into my driveway the oil light started flickering again only at idle.
Took part of the exhaust off to get to the oil pan. That was a pain and took a few hours.
Got the pan off put new gasket on and cleaned the pick up tube and screen/reinstalled. The oil pan was leaking previous.
Thinking on while I got it off, replace the pickup tube and assembly.
Should I replace the spring with something else?
Do they make a stronger spring to get more oil pressure?
I hope it is not the oil pump!!
Anyone else with this problem
