OEM motor mounts discontinued - best aftermarket alternative?
I have a 2008 Mazda6 with a 2.3L engine and 114k miles. It has worn engine mounts with excessive vibration at a stoplight and I can feel the engine rocking when I put the car in reverse or drive. I called the local dealer and of course OEM parts are no longer available. What is best value for generic engine mounts - Autozone, Advance Auto Parts, O'reilly, or other known quality aftermarket? Thank you.
Welcome to the forum.
generally speaking aftermarket engine and transmission mounts are really all the same quality if they simply state OEM specifications. So most of all the auto parts stores have them.

Ok thank that's what I figured. I'm going to try to replace just the rear dogbone link at the bottom rear of the engine see if that helps. Carparts has this part for $22 and Autozone has it for $67...
Sounds good. Maybe post back up your results.
