Default motor mounts

I was wanting to know if anybody new a good place to get motor mounts. I have a 97 S. and think I need a front mount.Checked ebay but heard those mounts suck! Also are there 2 or 3 mounts and where are they in the engine? Whats a good sight to get a pic of the motor, so I can check them.

Thanks!

Default RE: motor mounts

I have a '99 Mil 2.3 S and I got both my motor mounts from O'Reilly's. They special ordered both of them and they arrived within 2 or 3 days. One mount is on the passenger side [resembles a bell-shape] and attaches directly to the frame. Another is in the front of the engine, underneath.

I had to jack the engine itself up slightly to replace the one of the left, and when I did, I broke the front one. So to replace the front one, I just took it in to the shop to be safe. But broken motor mounts are no jokethey were causing my engine to rock, which shookthe whole car.

Oh, the third one is in the back, down below the engine, and very difficult to get to.

As far as pictures go, I would say just to keep searching...
