Well I just got MS6 out of Mazda service, my car was making a ratcheting sound during acceleration. The service guy told me it was the transfer case? and it's normal for this car, is this true? anybody else ever hear about this problem. I only have less than 4000 miles on the car.

 

I dont have any noise at all...I haver 39,300 miles on mine...

 

Just bought a 06 MS6 w/24k. Only driven 500mi. Sounds like AWD transfer case is broken. Feels like a flat tire dragging when accelerating. Case looks crooked when looking at it from behind. Lots of popping noises. When test driven it was bad, had them fix, bought, Father banged 2nd & 3rd gear (chirped wheels) made sound and eventually was convinced it was broke after getting worse that night. Any fixes for this?
