Default Noise

Hi all. Quick question. Just wondering if anyone else has experience what I am experiencing. When I am driving above 30-40 mph I hear this wind type noise coming from I believe the passenger side floor. It is not a constant noise, but it goes from being somewhat indistinguishable to somewhat noticable. I wish I could describe this more in depth but I am somewhat stumped with words. If almost makes me thing it is possibly a strut or a tie rod, but it is a 2005 with 24,100 miles. It is just bothering me. Any ideas what it may be or any suggestions? Thanks all! Any help would be appreciated! It is just under the 24,100 miles, 2005, 4-cylinder, 5-door. Thanks guys!

I have the same noise. It sounds like something is loose under the car. I am having new wheels put on in a few days so I hope to take a look underneath and see if I can determine what is making the noise. I have just over 10Kon mine.

I just got back from the dealership today. It was a bent rim! ha ha, and it needs to be balanced and aligned. But I just had it done I believe so I need to look into that more. I really like the service center at my Mazda dealership.

I took a look under the car while the shop was installing my new wheels, in the region that the noise on mine is coming from and the heat shield seems to be a bit loose. I will have to have the dealer take a look at it and see if there is a broken spot weld.
