I wanted to put an exhaust on my 05' mazda six V6 3.0L. The only problem is that i dont want it to sound like a ricer. I want more sound and i want it to be loud if possible, any suggestions of what i should get?

i did some research and i heard about a company called Tanabe. they make an exhaust that is supposed to be under 95 decibles. some of their exhausts sound pretty good on their website. you should check it out.

 

From what I have been hearing from other 6 owners, Magnaflow has been the choice of exhaust.

 

a kid i went to school with has tanabe muffler on his mazda 3 with the2.3. it sounds amazing. it has a tough sound to it, not a buzzing sound. id actually consider getting them for mine but i have the v6 and im not sure how it will sound. im either going with manaflow, or SLP. yeah slp makes some nice stuff, i had an SLPloudmouth on my bronco b4 i bought my 6 and it sounded nasty. 2 of em are under 200 bucks, and they are polished stainless.

 

Yea i decided to put the tanabe exhaust on mine after i talked to a dealer in my area. The exhausts come straight out of japan and i heard the exhaust on an RX-7 and it was awesome.

 

congrats on the new exhaust. after you get it on...you should let me know how it sounds.

 

yea will do but it might be in febuary when i get them, got to pay for books first unfortunately haha!
