I need to know what would cause my 2005 Mazda 6 3.0 l Manual transmission to go from driving normally to not being able to gain speed at all and when I tryed to give it gas only my RPMs needle would move ...when i snail crawled it to a safe location it stunk smelt like burning motor oil ... I let it cool down and checked all fluids I added oil and water..my temp gauge is always at 1/2 way .... I know it has starter issues but trying to "pop" the clutch did nothing I had it in 2nd gear and thought the car would stall because it was in gear,nope I kept rolling my break pedal was stuck but I pumped the breaks to stop...I've been told it could be the clutch cable (transmission cable) is stretched out I'm hoping that it's notthe hole Clutch...
