so, how much does it cost to change the transmission fluid. I have nearly 24,000 miles on my auto tranny. Should I get it done?

 

I would, I hink I paid 100 bucks or something...you want to do it on any car anyways, I did it at 30k

 

Automatic trans flush & refill is $100 to $125, depending on the dealer...doing it every 30k miles is good preventative maintenance. Cheers,

yes, Cheers is the word to use! I do have fun with it 2 or 3 times a week. So this is worrying me. I baby the car most of the time. But 2 to 3 times a week I will push it to the limit for a minute.

 

Ya i dont like to hear that alot of people are having tranny problems. I just bought my 06 Mazda 6s four months ago and i only have 5,800 miles and i dont want nothing going bad on it. I never heard anything bad about mazda and thats why i ended up getting one.

Alright thats what i heard and i hope it keeps up because its my baby. I use to drive a 94 saturn that the window didnt roll down, radioator went out and had to jerry rig it, and now driving this mazda really makes me appreciate it.

 

I hear that...You sould be okay. Just take good care of it, do the regular fluid changes and such and you should be doing alright...

 

If there are enough people with bad trannies and Mazda isn't doing a reacl or working with you it might be grounds for a class action law suit.

 

There are not that many people that are having tranny problems....I dont think anything would happen from it, but maybe someoen else knows the exact amount of tranny problems against the amount of cars sold...
