Does anyone know where to tap into the electrics for a tow bar/hitch on a 2008 Mazda 6 Estate/Wagon. Which pannels need to be removed to get access to the electric loom?

 

Not sure as I just got my 6. But have I installed several hitches/brake controllers/trailer lights from Hondas to Dodges, so from that experience-please make sure that you can tap directly into the harness. Some cars to not take kindly to the current draw directly from the lamp circuit. In those cases, you have to purchase an adaptor that draws the current direcly from the car battery. You only tap into the lamp circuit in order to trip a low draw "relay" to activate the trailer lamps. Check sites like etrailer.com
