im new to mazda cars and if im not mistakening the mazda 6 comes in a v6, correct? is there a performance market for them? turbo, tunning chip, header, exhaust, intake ect? If that is not a popular build up then which of the mazda line up is a good car to build up? thanks for any info.

Yes there is a V6 Mazda 6. It puts out 221 horses. There also is a Mazdaspeed version that is a 2.3 4 cylinder that is turbocharged. It is considerably quicker then the V6. Right now there are not a whole of mods available for the 6. There is the air intake, performance exhaust and of course the turbocharger. There are no computer chips for the 6 as of yet as far as I know. The car is not that fast, but trust me- It drives so well. It doesnt take off to well at 1500 to 3000 rpms, but once you get in that sweet spot at about 4,000 or so, she will make you pretty happy. It is a fun and reliable car to drive!

You can try to make your own custom turbo. Or better yet, twin turbo. That would be sick. Find a good import shop and share your ideas with them and see if they can make it a reality.

now that would be a dream come true.... too bad there aren't any local shops locally by me. Alot of places wont even touch an engine to put a turbo/supercharger in it.

you should call up sts turbo systems they have great turbos for alot of cars that have cramped engine bays

http://www.ststurbo.com/

i know a few people with them and they are fairly nice products
maybee someone who is close by them can be a project car for them and get a free kit
