Mazda 6 can't get into gear when engine is on

Mazda 6 can't get into gear when engine is on
Hey guys! I am having some trouble with my Mazda 6 2004 2.0 Petrol
The other day while driving i suddenly got stuck in gear and couldnt shift to a different one without turning off the car. I managed to get back into gear after turning the engine back but the issue persists.
Today when i went out to drive it wouldnt get into gear at all when the engine is on. However when the engine is off it switches gears just fine.
The clutch seems fine when pressing it, it has the same resistance it has always had.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what i should look at?
I would really appreciate any and all help
