Mazda 6 2009 anti-theft after buying new parts
My 2009 V3.7 is again locked for the second time. Seeking advice to what could be wrong. This is the event log.
- Wouldn't start, anti-theft lock.
- Had 3 parts replaced: Transmitter, receiver and blank remote. Cost around $1,000 USD Worked fine for a couple of weeks and happened again.
- I was out of town and a locksmith by-passed it and got it started again
- Looks like the parts that got replaced were not the real problem.
- Suspecting a bad wire/ground triggering the anti-theft lock
Its working fine now, but I know its a matter of time. Seeking advice.
