Hey,

Still not resolved.

I went to another dealer this past Thursday. It was really nice and very low humidity outside that the car was running really great! The mechanic was not able to replicate the problem.

Since there is no check engine light or any codes, it is difficult to isolate the issue.
After talking with the parts guy, he told me that they often change the Solenoid on these 2.3L's. Very common. The part is cheaper than an inspection, I figured I would buy one, try it out, see if it does anything.

Other sensors that are commonly changed are the MAF, and the shutter valve sensor in the throttle body.

Since the car acts up on humid days, the mechanic was suspecting a bad coil. What does not make sence is that the hesitation does not feel like a bad spark, but rather like a low supply of fuel.

Let me know if you have resolved your issue.

I will probably change my solenoid this afternoon.
