Default Lowering the Mazda

So I'm looking into lowering my Mazda 6, but I have a few questions:

1) How much should I lower it? I was thinking 2 inches, but then again I feel like that would be too much.

2) Also, Is there any specific brand on which
I should invest in?

Lots of help would be perfect! Thank you

1) It completely depends on who you want to impress. If you want to impress me leave it as it is.
2) I have absolutely no idea.

I know this is not much help.

Same applies to your vehicle.
Make sure they are progressive springs.
