at a loss... tranny stuck

Default at a loss... tranny stuck

ok so i got my cousins car, clutch bad im swapping it and i know nothing bout this car.. but i have it all but out and i have the K frame loose .. and still need like 1 inch more play to get tranny out... has anyone done a clutch and been in this boat? its a 2004 mazda 6, does the whole K frame need to come down ?or just unbolt it the whole way and let it dangle on the struts? pics lator i have to go to class now...

The front frame has to be completely removed.

No prob. had to do it when we replaced my clutch.

Flywheel
Runout - 0.1mm (0.004") Max
108-115 N-m (79.7-84.8 ft-lbs)
hand tighten, then gradually tighten in x-cross pattern - make sure to use loctite if re-using old bolts

Clutch Cover/pressure plate
Diaphragm spring fingers should have no more than 0.6mm (0.024") wear
Pressure Plate max clearance: 0.5mm (0.020")
Torque: 18.6-25.5 N-m (14-19 ft-lbs)
