Default At LAST My Love Has Come Along...

Motor Trend online has shown a photo of the purported 2022 MAZDA 6 and it looks just like the Vision show car. WOOO HOOO!
PLUS MT says MAZDA will give it a new 6 cylinder engine which will hopefully have the new Skyactive X improvements.

I want to say here that MAZDA needs to approach HYUNDAI and pay them to license their new Continuously Variable Valve Duration camshaft. It has shown improvements across the board in power, fuel economy and torque. It is brilliant and to see it in detail go to Youtube and "Engineering Explained, CVVD". Imagine, now you have every valve actuation controlled, timing, lift AND duration. BRILLIANT! (I think I need a Guinness now for some odd reason.)

MAZDA is a small, independent car company and maybe they have engine tech to swap with Hyundai to make this happen. They should be no threat to Hyundai in the world market.

Mazda’s success has been from getting the most out of its engineering investments. Developing only a few engines and transmissions and so on and making them work in multiple vehicles. I am afraid that their diversion into electric, 6 cylinders, RWD and so on may be too much for them to do it well.
