Hello Mazda forum! Thought I'd create a post and give a brief review about a car that my wife and I -just- bought. We were hunting for a budget car and came across a killer deal. After much negotiating and a dealership wanting to push end of the month sales, we ended up getting a brand new 07 Mazda 6i with several options on it for 15,900. I had them install a Mazdaspeed Cold Air Intake on it- talk about a notable difference in both throttle response and gas mileage! Normally I don't see a whole lot of difference with cold air intakes on four cylinders, but the setup the mazdaspeed intake provides is fantastic.

Beware though, the price tag on the custom intake from Mazda is $280.00. However, if you let them install it, it doesn't affect your warrant at all. We also bought it with a five speed instead of the automatic. We're getting 30-34mpg right now, fantastic car thus far. =)

Next car I get when I join the Army as an Officer will be a Mazdaspeed 3. haha
