Hey, was putting a ipod link in my 08 mazda 6 and the instructions were for a 07. So I had to find the wires to piggyback by location and not by the color. So I got everything linked up and the ipod charges and shows the logo but The radio will not switch to the ipod. Any ideas and where I went wrong?

 

Not a clue cause AFIK the 08 and 07 6's are the same.

Well I'm guessing that the directions were for a 07. The location of things and the drawings did not match the 08. Is it possible that even though there is the media button on the radio, that the ipod adapter will not work, I bought the base model car?
