hey, i'm a 23 year old automotive mechanics/auto body student who restores and works on cars... i'm going to be completed restoring a few cars so I'm about to have teh cash to get a car... i'm going to buy a salvage and fix it to drive... been interested in the mazda 6's for a while now and just wanted any input that you guys/girls have on them, be it good or bad... same for the 3 as well... thanks in advance.... brian

There both good cars. I wanted a 3, but went home with a 6(YES)! I haven't had any problems with my 6 yet and the Gas mileage is great. I can get about 360 to a tank if I take it easy on the throttle.

360? Do you have the V6? The gas tank is a 18 gallon tank. Make sure you use that in the calculation of mileage!

I4. I did the calculations. I drive mostly Highway.

I get on average about 400-420 miles per tank with my v6... i think that's pretty darn good!

yeah, that's with cold air intake/exhaust setup meanwhile babying my ride and not being heavy on the pedal.
