Default 225/40r18's

Has anyone switched from the stock 215/45r18's on the Speed 6 to a 225/40R18? There seems to be more tires to choose from in this size, and I need an all season tire for the winter months. Just wondering if anyone had any fitment problems.

Regards,

Keith

I'm running 225/45R18 on 18x8 wheel on a 2004 Mazda6 wagon. No problems with rubbing, but I think the Speed6 sits a little lower.

Go to www.tiredepot.com. They have a tire calculator to compare the 2 different sizes. Don't go over 3% difference from the original tire.
