Default Illuminated Entry System not working..

As the tittle states.. Tried the search button and came up short.. I have an 04 Mazda 6i, I looked at every single fuse in the engine compartment and driver side fuse box with no fuses blown. The lights will not turn on when a door is open, switch is on the DOOR side, lights do turn on if button is pressed.. Has anybody else encountered this problem..? Any suggestions..? Thanks in advance..!

Sounds like the switches are turned off. Isn't there a slide switch at both the front and rear dome light? Slide to the "door" position.

Both front and rear switches are in the DOOR position. I don't understand what is keeping the lights from turning on. You would think it's a fuse but there are no blown fuses. Could the switches be broken..?
