Question I hope my ECU isn't faulty

Hi All,
This is my first post with the forum.

Hope someone can assist.

Recently had my Mazda 6 TS2 (55 plate), services at my local Mazda dealership.
Since the carsd come back, a few electrical gremlins have appeared.

Firstly drivers side, electrical windows controls for all other windows (except drivers) stopped working... sorted that, one of the posts on this forum.
two more electrical issues have appeared.

1. Rev counter (Once the car is warm) is bouncing between 500 and 750 RPM, seem to stall quite often.
2. Both Electric Window Key Fobs don't lock or unlock the car.

When then car was services, garage told me the battery failed a discharge test, so changed the battery today to see if this was the problem. No Luck! Also had a good look at the fuses, all seem fine.

I hope this isn't my ECU starting to fail, has anyone got ant idea what this could be.

Cheers

You will prob have to reprogram the key fobs. Try cleaning the Throttle Body out & see if the helps with the surging issue.

Hi, Had MAZDA reprogram the key fob. The Keys would not programme. Mazda also tried a new "working" key, still no joy. Mazda tell me the only thing too try now is Investigate further. 2 days at £90 per hour. This will cost a fortune.....Any ideas anyone

so, i take it your car is no longer unser warranty? because if it still is then just tell your dealership that all this is covered and that you shall not pay a dime (or pence or quid, what have you!) but if it isn't under warranty....well then....if these things werent occuring before u sent it in and started to occur after you took it in.....well then, it woudl appear that the dealership has some liability on their hands...
