Default I have a question?

Okay, here it goes. I want to paint my a/c ***** a mat black to match the actual a/c blower things. Any one know how to get the reflector piece out from the back of the *****, so i can have a clean paint job. It is way to small to put tape over that little triangle thing that projects the light. If you want to see a picture of what I am talking about let me know and I will post one. And is it a good idea to sand the **** or primer the **** before or do u think the paint will stick better on the surface already. Thanks.

Default RE: I have a question?

It would be better to see it for I have a 6

I did my ***** on my Cobra , and the part where it illuminates is sooo small that I couldn't put tape ..... so I took a pack of smokes carton (paper part is like thin cardboard in Canada at least) and cut out the exact size to fit in the recessed position perfectly

used a scuff pad to lightly abrase it and applied the body paint directly over .... later took a toothpick to pry the carton out .

the paint has held and still is intact since 2003
