Default How to clean interior fabric 2007 Mazda 6 iSport VE

Hi,

I'd like some advice on how to clean the interior fabric of my 2007 Mazda 6. Its the iSport VE edition and the cloth is almost like suede... it doesn't look or feel like normal cloth interior and I'm finding it difficult to clean. I tried a damp rag, but it doesnt work real well. I have a pug and she has kinda gotten some snotty marks on the backseat - gross I know. What product can I safely use to clean the interior cloth of my car?

Thanks,
Kim

You can use a product called SD20. It works great and it's used in the plant where the seats are made.

thanks! do you happen to know if there is a more reasonably priced alternative? i really am just trying to remove dirt scuff marks and a bit of pug snot... Those things don't normally stain but they seem to cling to the material of these seats pretty well. I was really surprised when a warm rag didn't do the trick... do you think this seat material requires the expensive cleaner?

also, does anyone happen to know the name of the material, so that I can search for cleaning options on google?

thanks again!

Use some diluted Simple Green - it should do the job just fine. Spray it on a rag and wipe the surface clean.
