Help with my three seater 6 please.
Hi,
I went to Wicks today in my trusty Mazda 6 and bought a few sheets of MDF. I lowered the rear seats as I’ve done a hundred times before and marvelled at the amount of room the 6 offers.
A couple of hours later, I went to pick the kids up from school and tried to put the seats back up again. Unfortunately, the double seat has decided to retract the belt and lock itself.
I’ve tried to remove the bottom fixing but although I can just get a ring spanner on it, I can’t exert enough force to loosen the bolt. A socket is out of the question as the seat base overhangs the bolt. If I could get the seat upright it would probably unlock the mechanism.
So I was hoping that someone out there knows a trick to unlock it short of turning the car over.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
