What type of installation? Is it a portable "DASH MOUNT" (sits on dash/winshield) or a "BUILT IN DASH" system? If it's a portable sits on dash/winshield set up, all you should need to do is plug the power/charge cord from Navigator into a 12volt power source within the vehicle. There is no need for a speed sensor as a Navigation system typically determines your location and speed via GPS systems. The car does not measure the speed in this case, the Navigation System does that for itself by itself. If this info is of no help, suggest you got to Pioneer website.

why didnt you just buy the nav package option??
id consult your dealer or pioneer. trust me, you dont want to create issues
that warranty wont cover.
