Unhappy Hazard and Blinkers don't work Mazda 6 2010

Hello,
My hazard and blinkers stopped working.
I checked the fuses.
I looked for a relay but the 2010 doesn't have one instead it uses a BCM.
I thought the BCM went bad so I bought another one used and put it in.
It didn't work, this did not fix the lights problem.
I would like to know what else to look for. I ended up putting the original BCM back.
I don't have any blown bulbs.
Please help, thank you!

Has anything been worked on or touch anywhere on the car in the last month or so?

Nothing the car hasn't had any other issues.
The problem started 3 months ago but I have been putting it off until last week when I bought a used BCM.
I read that the BCM controls the lights (hazard, blinkers)

So nothing was touched, unplugged, installed or damaged 3 months ago, prior to this happening?

BCM needs to be programmed to specifically match your individual vehicle.

There will be two fuse boxes, one inside the cabin and the other under the hood/bonnet.

I read that the BCM would need to be re programmed if the car didn't start.
The car started fine and all the electrical worked fine except the hazard and blinkers.
Lock /unlock, stereo other lights everything works.
Could it be the blinker switch?

Usually the indicators/blinkers run thru the hazard switch.

If its cheap enough, replace the hazard switch and see what happens.

Hello Group,
I went and got another continuity tester and tested the fuses again and this time the Hazard fuse did not work.
Learning lesson: Use more than one tester.
