Pros and cons of each? I'm interested in getting one and wanna know the pros and cons of both. Other than the gayer looking body on the '10. :P

 

That alone should deter you from wanting one.

Also, I hear that the 2010 is heavier and has less horsepower. Is that true?

 

The 09 weighs less than the 2010 so it will be a tick quicker. Also the 2010 doesnt come with HID's or LED tailights.

 

The 2010 is a tick slower than the 09, but outhandles it due to the revised suspension.

I have driven both cars back to back. Here is what I have found.

The 2010 is a much better driving car.
less wheelhop
less torque steer
shifter action is more direct
clutch takeup is much better. Alot smoother to get off of a light
Car also rides better. Still firm but doesn't beat you up as bad.
First gear is longer so you don't have to shift as soon.
Car is a little quiter
My favorite part of the speed is how easy it is to drive fast. The new car hasn't lost any of the confidence inspring performance!

Look of the car is subjective. At first I didn't care for the new 3, but it has grown on me. I really like the Speed in silver and red.

Interior is nicer in my opinion, I like the layout and the materials used. The red in the seats and on the doors is just ok. I did like the suede in the 09 better.
