You must have the right setup. If your getting poor mileage, check tire pressure, type of oil used, may need oil change, A/C on?, and finally make sure your car is tuned up!
I have 38.5k on my '03 6s (3.0L) and have never had it serviced (aside from oil changes, tire replacement & rotation, air filter). So, after reading your post above, I called a couple of local dealers inquiring about a tune-up and they both said the plugs are good to 60k. So, they said, I wouldn't need a tune-up until then, but they could do a 30k service - which included the services mentioned above (except tire replacement) and the Full Circle diagnostics. I had my tires rotated and balanced this morning and I'm going to change my oil & air filter myself (haven't moved to a CAI,...yet!) this weekend, so I plan on going in for the diagnostics.

Is there something I'm missing? Should I be doing something else to get my engine tuned? Will the diagnostics tell me if my engine needs a tune-up?

Any help would be appreciated.

Ron
