Curious what people's real world experience has been with gas mileage. I'm on my first tank and got 200 miles so far as of the half filled mark. I'd be happy if i can get another 200 on the 2nd half. Realistic? I'm in LA and do a mix of city and highway driving.
Thanks.

I have to confess that I fill my tank to just about overflowing and drive it like an old lady on her way to church..
My best guess is that there is approximately 1-2 gallons left when the 'low fuel' light goes on. How far you can go from there will be based on what you have been getting for mpg on the rest of the tank, your current speed, and everything else that goes into the equation... I would not hesitate to go 25-30 miles once the light comes on, especially when I had to to get to the nearest gas station!

I have a 2007 6S 5-Speed and I went 44 miles after my gas light came on. I was stuck out in the middle of nowhere in Texas. Had no idea where i was but luckily i was on a highway going about 55-60 mph the whole time.
I usually avg 27-28 on the highway and about 20-21 in the city.
