Default front brake pad change

I am interested in what tools are needed to replace the front brake pads and rotors. I have allen head sockets, a #50 torx socket, and a 6 inch c-clamp. What else is necessary? I can borrow tools from my work if needed. I have a '99 Mercury Cougar that I've done a few times. I also own an '05 Mazda6 Wagon.

Thanks in advance,
ken

Default RE: front brake pad change

It's been awhile, but I want to say 14 & 17mm sockets to get the calipers off, an impact driver & BFH (Big f'n hammer - to get the phillips head screws out of the face of the rotors), synthetic grease for the new pads.

Min thickness of a usable rotor is 22mm, min thickness of a usable pad is 2mm
