Default Free Mazda 6 but with problems :(

So I recently came into prossession of a free 2004 Mazda 6 with the 2.3l 4cyl, auto with 240,000 km original everything. However, it needs a new engine, transmission, and exhaust. Engine is on last thread, transmission and exhaust I would say less than 5,000km. So I figured I would make a project out of it and see where it takes me. To get back to stoke I figure it will be between 4-5g's. With that in mind I thought I might try and play with it a little considering I got it for free.

My dream config would be 5 speed manual-trans, with the 3.0L Duratec 30 V6 engine, moded with a prerformance exhaust.

I know you can swap autos for 5speeds in some cars but others no... any experience with doing it in the Mazda 6? Can it be done without going into the ridiculous?

Also any experience swapping the 4cyl into the 6cyl? Perferably the 3.0L?

Anyone with some knowledge about this please post it up.

The auto to manual trans swap has been done before. To do a complete engine/trans swap you will need a few things.
- V6 engine mounts
-Harnesses
-CV axles
-Clutch pedal
-Brake pedal
-Clutch master & hyd lines
-ECU
-Mazda dealership to reflash everything
I may have missed some parts, but at least this shows the undertaking that you would be looking at.
