im about to hit 60k on my 4 cylinder 2.3 mazda 6 and need to know what brand of fluid is best and if its a good idea to avoid the costly dealership price, im not cheap or nothing just feel like 250 is taxing for a flush but then again have never needed one

 

Look in your owners manual. It will have the type of fluid that is required for that trans. Use only that fluid & nothing else. I think it is about $8-10 per Qt @ Mazda.
