Default Freaking out

i just purchased a 2006 mazdaspeed 6 today. it came with no owners manual and one key fob, the rectangle one with 3 buttons (lock, unlock, panic) and a key inside. i got home and my trunk won't open. it won't open with the buttons or the key. can someone tell me what the solution to this is beyond bringing it back to the dealership, which isn't an option since i have to work a double tomorrow and all my gear is locked in my trunk! please help me if you know how to fix this issue! detailed descriptions please!

Thanks

Ricky

I don't have a MazdaSpeed, but i have a 2006 6 wagon. I press the unlock button twice to unlock everything then lift the handle up on the hatch. If you can get into the car, try the unlock button on your driver door a few times then go to back and lift it up by the handle. I don't know if yours has a handle. Is there a spot in back for a key? Pressing the unlock button once only unlocks the driver door.
There should be a handle under the rear strip or a key.

First pic is my wagon (not mazdaspeed)(handle under strip above lic plate). 2nd pic is a hatch (handle under strip above lic plate), , 3rd pic is a Mazdaspeed (key)

i've tried everything, the master key, the button, holding it for 3 seconds, turning it clockwise, counterclockwise, hitting the fob unlock, the door unlock, nothing is working, i'm desperate. i'm thinking about calling AAA, but i doubt that'll help, cause it makes the sound that it's unlocking, so it's something else.

I tried, the pics didn't match my description at first and i screwed around with it. It's finally right. Don't know what else to tell you, other than prying out the bottom of trunk a bit or reefing on it. Be careful not to chip paint, protect it with a towel. Squirt some lube in to the key hole.

Do the rear seat backs fold down?
