Default FAN Control Mod. question

I know my car 2004 v6 wagon has the issue with the fan control module. Question is do you guys think the average person could change this out?? I just don’t have the time to schedule an appointment and take it in these days. It doesn’t look that bad to get to. I just don’t know if there is more to it like a computer upgrade..

Thanks!

Is the car still under warranty? If it is, take it to the dealer. If it is not, it is easily swapped out.

Can someone post a link or give a website to purchase a fan control module?

Thanks!
