Default Exhaust Question

Hey there everyone I have a quick question that I know may seem dumb but I am new to the mazda world....or at least the 6 world. So here it goes I have a 2006 Mazda 6 with the 2.3L N/A and I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the difference is between the v6 and the 2.3 exhaust is after the axle? is there any difference at all? Any help would be great, thanks

this ia a thorough in depth analysis of the **** poor exhaust design by mazda engineers for the 2006 mazda 6 V63.0 litre.

For the 4 cyl, look under your car!

You can also get an idea through a catalogue search. Search for spare parts of both variants. If you get different parts numbers then there is a difference.

thanks guys and yes you are right Noggin the stock design is **** poor and I have been under mine. basically I am looking at doing an exhaust and I was just trying to figure out what is best to do, be it a cat-back, axle back or just simply muffler replace. I do think now that I will have to throw it up on my friends hoist and do some looking around and see what can be fixed/changed from stock in order to help the exhaust breath better, preform better, and sound better.
