RE: engine overheating?!
well they just called me at 1130am, they found that the leak was coming from a soft plug on the tranny. I never heard of this. But that is what they said. I am getting a loaner today though. They said it won't get done till tommorow at the earliest.

I have never heard of a soft plug before. I think you are talking about a freeze plug, well that is what I call them. they are holes in the engine block that go to the coolant passage when the block is made. I am not exactly sure why the are there, I think maybe to help clean the block when it is done being made. It looks like a little metal cap that goes in your block, all manufacturers are different to where they put them. but Ive seen it before where you've had to remove the transmission to get one of these plugs becuase it was leaking. I am guessing that is probly your problem, but to were the coolant went I have no idea. it should drip on the ground. If not it went into your bell housing of your transmision and then your probly gonna need to perform a transmission flush several times to get it out. I know warrantly will cover it, hope everything goes well

yeah. I am driving a Sebring. Gosh. This car sucks compared to the Mazda 6. The Sebring has a V6 and it has a decent amount of power, but it throttle response is terrible. My I4 Mazda 6 performs better. I seriously am somewhat depressed when I see another Mazda 6. I want mine back. It has been so long. I mean Mazda has had it since Wednesday.
