Ok, I fall in line with everyone else that is having issues with interior rattles. It drives me nuts!!! One of the ones that bothers me is the fact that the driver's side door panel does not appear to be properly clipped together, resulting in several rattles. Ever since we got the car, the driver's side door panel pulls away when you go to pull it shut by using the depressed door handle. It creeks and pops like something is loose, yet the dealership has had it 3 times to fix and still nothing. I want them to replace the door panel completely, but no luck. ANY SUGGESTIONS????

Also, I'm having issues with the center console stack rattling, doesn't matter what surface you're driving over, if you run over a penny,its going to rattle. I just don't understand why we go out and buy vehicles (30k, 40k, 50k, etc.) and expect quality, but come out feeling ripped off. My 1998 Ford F-150 supercab has less rattles than my 2004 Mazda 6s 5 door, and that's no lie. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

 

I would def get a second opinion from a different dealership and explain to them what is going on..If not Id contact Mazda Corp.

 

My door doesnt rattle, way maybe alittle when i have my subs blasting but my driver side pillar where the seat belt is rattles and it is really annoying. So i just have my music up so i dont hear it. Ive taken it in the dealer and had them replace the pillar and it still didnt stop it. Everybody thinks im crazy but i hear it lol. They should be able to replace your door panel because it is warranty. Thats how i got my pilar replaced. So diffently bring it to another dealer.

 

the only rattle i get is, what i believe, is my driver side window. there is a topic on this already. not sure exactly, but when i drive with all the music off i can hear a slight rattle. noticed i said slight because it really isn't noticable unless you're the driver. AND IT DRIVES ME CRAZY TOO! then when i drive it with the window cracked, it rattles a bit louder.

one thing i noticed when my window was rolled down almost half wayand i try pull it up using my hand (from the top of the window gripping it with my hand)the window actually jiggles a bit and slight moves up as if it was loose from the regulator. i havent checked the passenger side to see if it does it too but im sure it doesnt. but like i said, i'll have to check.

i will be inspecting my window soon. ill let you guys all know how it goes and if i can get it fixed or not.

 

I recently bought a 2007 Mazda6 5-Door (v6 se) just last week.

today, i noticed some rattling/creaking sounds on my front passenger side's door. i wasn't sure if it was coming from the door or the compartments. i noticed that it only happens when i begin to drive after coming off a complete stop. when i am driving, the sound usually goes away unless i drive on some un-even surface. i pulled over and opened the passenger door and closed it again, and the sound was gone; at least temporarily. i am pretty sure the noise will come back again sooner or later.

i've only had this car for 5 days so far. it shouldn't be doing this. should i notify my dealer about this?

 

I would. Take theservice techfor a drive a duplicate the concern for them.
