Default Dipped Headlights failure...

Hi!

I had a visit to my authorized Mazda workshop, Cause I hade some trouble with the right dipped headlights.

The problem was, Sometimes when I start my car the right dipped lights works, and sometimes not. Why is this? that they sometimes work and sometimes not.

At the workshop they said that up to 90 % of that problem, is that the Xeon lightbulb was broke, And they changed it. And it's stil not working. They said that I have to change a large piece of modul inside the Headlights or something, is this correct? Or they Just said that "oh, its the bulb itself that is broken", Just to make so make some money out of me?

Now I've got an extra Xeon bulb, to no use at all, and they are not chep either.

I got a Mazda 6 2,3 Sport, with Xeon lights 2003 model.

Please help me, feels like I've been fooled.

Thanks

Where are you located? Sounds like the HID control unit under the headlight may have gone bad.
