Did you get engine burning smell in cabin?
I drove my new 2019 Mazda6 back home from dealership. I really like the car. Have driven it now about 150 miles, but still there is an engine burning smell that comes insides the cabin area. I notice it when car comes to a standstill / idle usually (after it has beenon highway).
I called the salesperson, he said its very common issue for people, since the factory as well dealerships use cleaners and stuff but that it will go away soon. I feel skeptical as I get a new car usually every or other year, though this is my first Mazda. Again I like the car, but I hate bad smells and this is bothering me, specially if this is going to be an issue long-term.
Could others comment with their experience?

How long it tooks yours to dissipate grim_reaper? I have now 400 miles on odometer and the smell is still there, maybe its not fully as strong as it was before but I think this difference could also be due to my nose getting habituated. When I turn the air circulation to internal only (so outside air does not come in) I still can smell about 25% of that burning odor.
