Hi All - I know that the new vehicles have a strong smell from the engine when new, we have 7,000 kms (approx 4,300 miles) on ours, mainly highway driving and the smell still exists when we are stopped for a longer period of time with the vehicle running. We have had it into the dealer and they said this is normal, at what point do we push back and say this isn't normal? We live in Manitoba, so having the air circulating in the vehicle is not an option in the winter/spring (lots of cabin moisture), the air will only come from outside when the heater is set to defrost. Any insight anyone has would be greatly appreciated!!
