Hey all. Whats going on. This has been in my head for awhile and im trying to come to a conclution. A custom turbo for our 6's. I found this site that can make custom pistons and rods http://www.importperformanceparts.ne...stomparts.html Now i just I have find someone that can mak some headers. But I wanted to hear some ideas from you guys. And what you think a cool turbo setup would be.

 

are you going dual or single?

 

I was planning on going dual.

 

that would be really nice. how many psi's you want to crank out of them?

 

Probibly about 6-7 psi to start. Till I get money for better internals.

 

would you happen to know what the typical psi is for a stock 2005 mazda6?

 

The mazdaspeed 4-banger? Are they even out yet?

 

i'm thinking they are out in 2007 for production..... thats the year that popped into my head from someone who told me that.

 

Ok, the I just looked it up and the mazdaspeed 6 is pushing out 15.6 psi on stock turbo. It has a top mount intercooler and is running 9.5:1 compression ratio. Still not sure when its coming out though. Ill take your word gray_mazda bout 2007. Man, that cars gunna make all our 6's look slow now.[:@]
