Clockspring Issues?
Started having a few problems with my 2009 Mazda 6 automatic that I can’t seem to figure out. My vehicle is a push-to-start, which will be important later.
Recently started the car, and when I tried to shift into drive, I noticed the gear stick refused to move from Park. When I looked on my dash, I had the Traction Control light on and the DSC OFF light was on. I also noticed that after starting the car, it no longer recognized that I had the key fob with me. Same issue occurred when I used the emergency key in the ignition. I turned the car off and back on a few times and continued to run into the same issues. The only way I can bypass all of this and drive my vehicle is by releasing the shift lock every time I need to put it in drive or reverse from park. Additionally, I found that my horn no longer works.
After some research, I found these problems could be related to a faulty clockspring. I replaced the clockspring, but unfortunately this didn’t change anything for me. Even tried resetting the Traction Control light with by turning the steering wheel fully in both directions, but had no luck.
Has anybody experienced something like this or know what this could be related to? I feel this could be a clockspring connection issue, but don’t know where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you had your vehicle scanned for fault codes?
Do your brake lights work?
With the engine running, can you hear a click from the gear lever area when you put your foot on the brake pedal?
