Default Chipping Paint fixed for free!

My 2018 Mazda 6 Signature Edition paint was being chipped way too easily by small rocks etc. I took it into the Dealership and they took photos of it to show Mazda. They ended up removing all the paint and repainting all of my car for free, not under warranty but under customer loyalty or something like that.
Needless to say, I'm very happy with the work, the look of my car and the quality of service at the dealership.

If you are experiencing similar problems, it would be worth a try talking with the dealership. If I'm not mistaken, I think there is a known issue with the paint not having the correct hardness or something from the factory.

My concern is if this new paint will just wind up chipping easily after a year or two as well. I have decided to not even look at soul red mazdas due to this problem I've noticed on the forums especially with that color.

They told me that the new paint had the missing compound that would make it less brittle. They also said that the new paint would still be covered under the car warranty.
I understand your concern, it's just that the color is so damn impressive for looks IMHO.
