Default Can't start my 2.2 diesel 2010 when it's warm.

Hi..

I'm having some issues with my mazda 6 2.2 diesel from 2010 (engine code R2AA).
When the engine is cold, it'll start right up, but if the engine is warm, from normal commute, and I shut it off, it won't fire back up. It'll try, but it makes a terrible noise, and the whole car shakes pretty bad.
I've googled, and found several topics where this problem is mentioned, but no solution so far, I'm afraid.

Can any one help?

Kind regards
Marck

I would try unplugging the Coolant temp sensor & see if it fires up.

Also failing camshaft & crankshaft sensors can play up when hot & give bad signals.

Hi, thanks for your input.
I've had the var to a garage, and they put their computer on it, and there were no faults in the cars ECU..
If it was a sensor fault, wouldn't there be a fault in the ECU?

Thanks

Hi. Yes, I got it sorted out, in my case it turned out to be a faulty battery. I ran a battery tester on the battery, and it showed 20 % of normal capacity. I put a new one in, and haven't had the problem since.
