If you actually wear panties, that is cool. I like to show off my hairy legs myself!

CP-E makes the intake with the biggest gains 22-24hp gains and will not throw a CEL. (but it cost around 500)
Injen makes the second biggest gains and it will throw a CEL, but you can buy CP-E's piggyback to reprogram the MAF. CAI ($209 / piggyback $250)
AEM has the 3rd biggest gains and will occassionally throw a CEL. (%200)
K&N has the least amount of gains (8hp); but will not throw a CEL. ($229)

any of those intakes will get rid of that throttle lag if your running an atx.

cold air intakes dont really have big power gains so it is not going to put any additional strains on your engine. as far as the tranny cooler goes...it helps prolong the life of the tranny so its a really good investment. the 6 wagons comes stock with a tranny cooler. they are simple to install. go to mazda6tech.com for really good instructions. none of these mods can void your warranty unless you drive your 6 into deep water and hydrolock your engine....then yeah that would void it....but then again it would probably hydrolock with the stock airbox too.

one such manufacturer is Autometer Gauge. just do a little search for a tranny gauge on the internet. sure you'd find a good selection of them through doing so. i think the Autometer Gauge is around $40 or so.
