Default Bolt sheared on idler pulley

I have a 2004 Mazda 6, 2.6 L. The serpentine belt idler pulley bolt sheared off. Is there an easy way to get at the broken bolt to drill it out; tap it for a new bolt?

I am in the middle of a similar disaster, the engines move up and down once unbolted from engine mounts, there is some place, this is as far as I am so far, had mine towed to the mechanic with half a century experiance, hopefully he can get the broke bolt out, how did yours turn out?
