Crankshaft Pulley Bolt - Lefty or Righty?

RE: Crankshaft Pulley Bolt - Lefty or Righty?
Thanks Baby!
I put a monster pipe wrench on the front pulley (not used on my vehicle so I didn't care if I dinged it a little) and a breaker bar on the pulley bolt and got that bad boy off. Whew! Now I can replace the timing belt.
thanks for your reply.
P.S. For those replacing timing belt: I don't believe its necessary to remove the large crankshaft bolt, only the 6 small bolts holding the dampener pulley on. I removed the large crankshaft bolt to remove the crankshaft sprocket to get access to the front seal on the crankshaft.

Glad you got that sucker loose. You are absolutely right in that you only need to remove the large center bolt if you need to remove the toothed t-belt crank pulley. It is always a very good idea to replace the front cam and crank oil seals as you are already right there and it sure would suck to develop on oil leak from those seals 10k later. Oil and t-belts are not good mixed together[:@].
Retorque that crank pulley bolt to 116-123 ft/lb and front cam pulley to 35-48 ft/lb.
