I need a new battery for my '03 6 with the V6 engine. I've had people tell me I should get an Optima, but after doing a bit of research on the web, I'm leaning toward an Odyssey battery. First of all, Odyssey has a battery (PC1200MJT) that is the correct group size (40R), Optima and Diehard Platinum do not carry a 40R. And I'm not sure what other group sizes would fit in the 6. I know the Diehard Platinums are just rebadged Odysseys, so I'd like to go that route for the stellar replacement warranty and slightly cheaper cost.

Has anyone upgraded their battery?
What did you go with?
Are you happy with the performance?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
