Default Battery light comes on every few weeks

Occasionally my battery light comes on: maybe once every two or three or four weeks or so:
***USUALLY it will go off and stay off if I turn off the ignition. If not, the light will go off the next time, even if I power it off immediately after noticing the light
***There is no noticeable loss of power when the battery light appears: running lights and radio and engine performance stays the same
***Battery does not seem to be dying: CCAs are strong and always starts right up, even in some sub-freezing morning cold starts lately
***I can drive forever wth the light on with no change in performance: have done it for an hour or more (not the smart thing to do, I know)
***Cables are good with no corrosion or breaks, etc
***Battery is only two years old, a SuperStart from OReilly's
Thoughts?

To Start a few things needs to be addressed:
.
Did you load test the battery? If not sure how you made that statement about the CCA?
The date you purchased the battery and the sticker on the battery is not when the battery was made. The retail age of a battery is really meaningless when there are charging issues without doing a proper load test of the battery.
The condition of the cables also includes not only at the battery but the other end i.e., starter and chasses ground. Also, you should verify all the ground connection as well besides the battery negative cable.
